Non-Certified CHEATER Cage for the Bauer NME/Concept (NOT FOR THE NME ONE)

I've been using the Bauer Cheater Cages from GoalieParts for 5+ years and every single one has been high quality and protected me well while facing NHL shots. The wide array of color options is great for style and they can take a beating before having to change them out.

This was a fast and easy cage change!

Cage fits perfectly and sturdy. Took a slapper off the cage and the steel frame held up. Highly recommend the quality, and the design itself is a perfect compromise between the grid and the cat-eye. 0% chance a puck can squeeze through, while still maintaining great peripheral vision.

Took all of two minutes to get use to it. Great vision and thicker bars than the stock Bauer cage.

Play my first game in that new cage last night. Got slashed right in the face and it took it like a champ. Sight lines are much better. It’s not gonna help me stop any more bucks though but that’s just because I suck. Great piece of equipment.

Got this to replace my certified cat-eye. Love the field of vision. The middle bars on my certified cage got in the way sometimes, this cheater allows me to see through it without any bars getting in the way. Also, the bars are much thicker than the oem bauer cage. Very happy with my purchase.

Went with this over a cat eye because I was concerned about a stick getting past in B level and shinny. The cheater cage is great. I see shots WAY better than with a straight bar, and pucks off the mask haven't been a problem. I have an NME 7 and the cage looks good on the mask. I'd recommend this for over a cat-eye for anyone who plays beer league.
