OTNY X1 Elite Certified Goalie Mask - Jr., Int., Sr.

I had never heard of OTNY but it was recommended on a goalie FB page. So I decided to buy one for my son (13). He had a different brand which was kind of weak and he takes a few pucks to the head and he was complaining about the sound. This mask - wow - the sound is definitely dampened as well as the shock of the puck - this provides an outstanding level of protection for him. It is well built and will last him a long time - when he's older or needs a new helmet - definitely going OTNY. Also the design helps to force the puck away from the mask minimizing any impact force. Besides the quality this mask also looks really good - I got him the cateye cage for pictures (not sure if they will allow him to play with that cage) and just ordered a straight bar for him. Love it!

I had some questions and I called the number. After several attempts Dennis had answered the phone and he answered all of my questions. He even sent me a picture of how to measure my son's head while I was on the phone with him. I was able to get him pictures within a few days and Dennis was able to tell me what helmet would be best for my son. He also told me the helmet would be good for my son for years to come. When the helmet arrived, one of the first things he noticed was the quality of the entire helmet. He and I pulled out his old Bauer NME 3 and started comparing all of the differences. Everything from the helmet to the cage says quality. My son really liked there is a rubber grommet everywhere there is a screw. I do appreciate that Dennis did not try to up-sell me. I looked on the website and noticed there are several different styles and prices. After talking to him about my concerns he explained the differences to me and suggested the OTNY X1 Elite was the right choice for me. Yes, I could have paid more for one of the other helmets but I felt comfortable with Dennis' suggestion. To all goalie parents out there looking for a great helmet that will last your goalie for a while I would definitely refer you to goalieparts.com. The product is great quality. I feel you get your money's worth with this product.

This mask works - took some shots to the mask that would have hurt with my old mask but with this mask, no problem. They did have an issue with filling my order as requested - some color options were not filled as requested. Otherwise, very pleased.

LOVE The Mask!! My son loves it. I also have to say that I got the best customer service when calling about sizing. I called goalie parts initially not knowing what size my son would need and I think the owner answered the phone directly which took me off guard that it wasn’t not an automated system or call center. He immediately texted me photos showing me how to measure my sons head and told me to text him pics back with the measuring tape on my sons head. He quickly got back to me with the right die and it fits perfect. It so rare to get this type of service and I truly appreciated it.

The construction is incredible. It's beefier (especially in the chin) than any box store mask I've seen, while being reasonably light. The shell has some areas where you can tell it is hand made, such as the snaps for the backplate not lining up perfectly to the strap cutouts, but that is more of a sign of the handcrafted nature of the mask than poor quality. There was a small fitment issue when the mask arrived (due to my oddly-shaped skull), and Chuck was great about finding a way to get it right. A+ for quality, A+ for service.

Great helmet! We got a blue mask with red straps and white cage, it looks amazing. First game my son took 2 off the mask with no issues. Again, great mask!

Nice mask. Already getting a few questions from parents regarding certification of cat eye cage. Solid protection.

Very high quality and lighter in weight than anticipated. First practice my son took 3 off the mask with no issues with headache or ringing ears. Hes been wearing it for two weeks and after about a dozen shots off the mask my son and I are very pleased. Wait time for the mask was as indicated on the site and arrived on time. Again, great mask!
