CCM Not Cert Open Mouth Cage.
Ordered the cage to replace the stock certified cage on a new CCM Axis 1.5 mask. Originally I ordered the non-certified mask but was notified none in stock so I purchased this with a promise to review. Order process flawless, shipping quick, fitment and quality perfect. Vision on ice is as expected with a non-certified. Lower "open mouth" portion does allow for better low vision and pucks were easy to spot down low. The only knock on the mask is its aesthetics. It's just ugly. Maybe I'll get over that. If you are not worried about looks and want good vision--this is actually better than the typical non-cert cat-eye. I do worry about sticks in the mouth hole but so far no issues.
