ECO Ice Kream - Goalie Leg Pad Sliding Polish

Best slide assistance I've found yet. Helps to keep me sliding well and not get so worn out in the late stages of a skate. Works better on jenpro than Sno Seal and won't damage your pads like vinyl PPE film or waterproof gorilla tape. Holds up for a few skates but I've been applying a little each skate. Doesn't take a lot though. Little dab will do ya.

Second season with Ice Kream. Arrived quickly. Great product, especially good for younger Squirt/PeeWee goalies who are still building leg strength. Allows them better mobility in the crease where movement can be tougher on younger legs that need to make big cross-crease moves compared to their adult counter parts. Bought it for the first time on the recommendation of our goalie coach and was not disappointed. It is the choice of most goalies in our association Squirt through Bantam.

As a bigger, taller goalie, overcoming inertia was the main problem I was encountering with my slides. Butterfly slides from a standing position were no problem, but when stationary in the butterfly, it took an extraordinary amount of energy to get moving even a little bit. This product has completely removed that as a problem. It's amazing! That being said, a little bit does go a long way, it's a very soft consistency. And, as such, I can imagine that if you are a smaller goalie, and you apply too much of this, over-sliding positions could become an issue. So you may need to get good at putting on the brakes once square if that is the case. I have not found this to be a problem, but I could imagine that it could be under the right circumstances. All-in-all, fantastic product! I'll be buying more.
