Sportmask Non-Certified Pro Cat-Eye - Long Cage

I opted to include a replacement long pro cat eye flat bar cage with the Sportmask Revitalization kit. This cage feels more substantial (weight) than the original stainless one, maybe because of the gloss white powdercoat on this one. The flat bar is also thicker in height. I haven't taken any shots off this cage yet, but if the old cage is any indication -- there is only one slight bend in the original 11 year old cage with no signs of weld degradation -- this is a quality product. Worth noting if your X8 is older: I think at some point Sportmask revised the shape of their long pro cat eye cage or their X8 shell. The original cage has pronounced bends at the temples to contour the face opening. The lower upside down U bar is also a bit narrower on the old cage. Because of the differences, I had to drill four new holes to attach the new cage to the mask. Not ideal, but also not a deal breaker for me given the age of my mask. I am satisfied with the purchase.

I was looking for a specific cage to match my equipment. I chatted to clarify what I needed and even though the colour was to take an extra 2wks I had the cage within 7 days of order. Couldnt be happier.

Great white finish

Great product and service. The gold pain looks amazing on the cage and I am impressed with the quality of the paint application. I would definitely recommend purchasing a replacement cage through goalieparts.com. I saved time, money and I was able to get a more unique looking mask than if I purchased a replacement through the original company.
